YOGA & ART RETREAT
CREATE YOUR ZEN
June 21-24, 2023
Have you ever dreamed of waking up to a castle surrounded by sandstone rock formations spiraling into the clouds? This is it! The grounds of Glen Eyrie have over 700 acres for you to discover, explore, and be transformed. Hammocks, trails, and historical geology will provide the perfect place for you to restore your spirit and create your Zen. The retreat is located in the foothills of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, CO, right next door to the popular landmark Garden of the Gods. Join us for this 4-day, 3-night retreat to create your Zen.
What to Expect
In addition to yoga and art classes, we will arrange an optional hiking trip to the Garden of the Gods (pictured right). This park is full of sandstone red rocks and 21 trails. Admission is free.
Perhaps you'd rather check out Colorado Springs for a day of shopping or attend afternoon tea at the castle. We can help you arrange whatever lights up your heart. This retreat is all about YOU.
THE GLEN VIEW LODGE:
Enjoy the breath-taking views and privacy from this comfortable and clean lodge on the far edge of the property. We will have the entire lodge just for our group, and use of the meeting room in case of inclement weather to hold our yoga and art classes. Each room has 2 Queen beds with a table, dresser, desk, chair, and closet. Private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Rooms do not have television sets, giving you time to refresh, reflect, and relax. If you do not have a roommate in mind, we can pair you with someone. If you would rather occupy the room on your own, please choose the "Single" Accommodation option at checkout.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included in the cost of your retreat! Meals are served on site daily, with organic ingredients, including vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Each yoga class will be customized for active recovery. Classes will be taught for all levels. Angelique will provide modifications for beginning yogis and also opportunities for advanced practitioners to grow their practice. Even if you have never practiced yoga, you will find these sessions accessible and empowering!
Each art class will be built around those participating, and weather permitting the surrounding nature will be our inspiration. Paint your canvas with acrylic paints provided for mixing and exploring, with the guidance of a teacher who is both artist and nature lover. Learn to follow the eye to create rich landscape art you will love to display after returning home.
