Empower Yoga is ecstatic to host this 8-day Yoga Retreat to Belize, a beautiful country with welcoming people and delicious cuisine. The first yoga retreat our studio ever hosted was in Belize back in 2018 and we cannot wait to show all our current yoga students why we love it so much!
During this trip you will enjoy seven nights and eight days at Sirenian Bay in the beautiful Placencia, Belize. In between your two daily yoga practices, you will have the opportunity to relax, unwind, or go on an adventure. You’re on vacation, your options are endless.
One thing that will make this retreat unique as it will also coincide with a teacher training we will be hosting simultaneously. You will get to meet and spend time with future yoga teachers and perhaps decide you too want to learn more about the history and philosophy of yoga and deepen your practice. Yoga Classes
Each yoga class will be customized for active recovery. Classes will be taught for all levels. Keri and Angelique will provide modifications for beginning yogis and also opportunities for advanced practitioners to grow their practice. The Teacher Trainees will also be there to provide additional assistance and support.
Even if you have never practiced yoga, you will find these sessions energizing and empowering, sure to feed your soul!
The Resort
Sirenian Bay is an intimate, luxury resort nestled on the golden sands of the Placencia Peninsula in stunning Belize. Travel
You just have a valid passport. Fly into Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, which is approximately 115 miles north of Placencia, where Sirenian Bay is located. You then have the option to travel to Placencia by air or ground.
The flight from BZE to PLJ (Placencia Airport) is about 30-minutes by way of one of two local airlines, Tropic Air Belize or Maya Island Air. When you arrive in Placencia, you’ll be greeted by a driver and brought to the Resort (about 15 minutes away from the airport).
If you choose to book ground transfers from Belize City to Placencia, the drive takes around 4 hours, depending on stops.

**Accommodations will be in Bungalows. You'll have your own bedroom, bathroom, and balcony, but share a common space.
Price Includes:
7 nights lodging at Sirenian Bay, all meals, 14 yoga practices, Wifi, taxes, as well as transfer to and from Placencia Airport.
Price Does Not Include:
Airfare to Belize City and Placencia, yoga mat & props, beverages outside of meal time, alcoholic beverages, & excursions.
Terms & Conditions
To sign up for this retreat, a non-refundable and non-transferable US $500 deposit is required. Your deposit is applied toward your retreat rate.
Fifty percent of your balance is due at registration. The remaining balance is due 30 days later.
ALL payments are non-refundable. Therefore, Trip Insurance is required. You can purchase trip insurance through Travel Insured, World Nomads, or the company of your choice. We recommend purchasing your trip insurance at the time of deposit.

Angelique is a 500 hour RYT Yoga Teacher at emPOWERyoga and an Ayurvedic Practitioner. Angelique teaches her students how to find self-acceptance and a positive mindset on their yoga mats. Each of her classes builds up to a unique and challenging pose, and she always gives her students options to make the pose accessible. Expect to learn something new when you practice with Angelique!
